THE FELINE CONNECTION
In this wood carving, there is an interconnection of two feline elements with a figure that´s, apparently, a child (a "legitimate" cat, a cat with a human face, and a boy with animal features).

A Kid, that´s not what he seems to be, is presented as a central element. He has "beard", hairy ear, serious, weird nose and a incommom semblance unusual to see in a child.

A feline (left side) full of human elements facial confronts, merges and mentally connects with a child full of not childish features. Add to this scene another wild cat (right side) also interlaced with figures by a mental "spectrum" and physical link, giving them the true and legitimate feline animal features.

Wood: Jequitibá-rosa (brazilian wood)
Dimensions: 71cm x 36cm x 4cm

The infant weakness lies, in this artwood (woodcraft), among a set of elements of skill, physically and mentally connected to the feline elements, which are not, in its entirety, mere characters of common cats.

Before this interconnection, the animality of felines, in the sculpture, gets lost and dissolved as far as the child´s humanity is scattered. All of this picture viewed in the woodcarving in "jequitibá-rosa-wood" shows how men and cats have a connective powerful link, even humanity disliking perceive how the "universe of cats" is convergent with several features of humanity.
